This two day backpacking route traverses the transition zone between cold, dry alpine and warm, humid tropical. As a result, the views along the route are spectacular as clouds rise and fall among the mountain peaks. This route can be done uphill, adding a downhill mountain biking finale as a reward for your effort, or downhill to slowly appreciate the views as you descend. How long does it take?
